ASTRA: Knights of Vega opens for pre-registration ahead of launch next month

It has been cooking for six long years, but after a long time in development, HYBE IM and FLINT have announced that pre-registrations are now open for MMORPG ASTRA: Knights of Vega. There will also be a nice little gift for those who get a move on and sign up.

For those who haven’t heard of it, you take on the role of a Master of the Book, one of twelve who spawned from the remnants of the great god Veda Astrea when she sacrificed herself to save Planis. Now, Mad King Magnus causes chaos across the realm, and it is down to you to stop him.

ASTRA is a gritty take on the side-scrolling beat ‘em up genre, think Bloodborne meets Streets of Rage. It can be played either single-player or you can recruit a few friends to rampage across Planis in team-based combat and rid the planet of the undead hordes and mildly perturbed grizzly beasts.

After first being revealed to the world at Gamescom in the summertime of 2023, ASTRA has been rapidly growing its hype, which has been particularly helped by its first open global beta that was held in October 2023, and snagged a mention in Steam’s most-played games list. Now, we are one short month away from launch, which is some point in April, there's no fixed date.

For players who sign up during this pre-registration phase, you will receive a nifty little Launch Support Box when ASTRA launches. This will include all manner of cool items, such as an Exclusive Launch Namecard, as well as a Mist Deer Necklace and Mist Deer Ring. What do they do? Who knows, but deers are nice so let's take it. There will also be two Crustal of Relationship as an additional store reward.
