Weather Simple Review

Living up to its name, Weather Simple is detailed yet simple weather reporting.

Using the National Weather Service, you can easily consult the forecast for anywhere in the US through this app. Once you’ve picked a location, you can easily scroll through sections detailing the forecast for today, tonight, and the rest of the week. Hourly breakdowns are also provided for the next 24 hours.

At a glance, you can always see what the temperature is right now, along with weather conditions, humidity, and wind speed. Is there a hazardous weather warning for your area? That’s listed too. A simple swipe downwards takes you to the more detailed stuff if you so wish, but it remains as complicated or as uncluttered as you need it to be.

That’s the beauty behind Weather Simple. I’ve seen more stylish apps but its speed and convenience goes a long way to counteracting that. For those of us struggling for space, its sub 10mb size will be a real advantage as well.
