This one's a super, super, SUPER tough shooter set in a future where the AI of a slaughterhouse has taken over the planet. The only creatures left to fight it, as you can almost certainly figure out from the name of the game, are pigs. Ammo pigs, to be specific.

What happens when you make light the core mechanic of your game? Something like Where Shadows Slumber. It's a game where the main way you interact with the world is with a magical lantern that casts shadows that can change levels entirely.

If you're a fan of the Cube Escape series then there's a very real chance you've already downloaded this one. If not, it's a puzzling adventure series with a dark and strange story. But the games stand on their own as well, so this is as good a place as any to start off.

This one came as something of a surprise, but it's the sort of surprise you can't help but get excited about. It's the prequel to the brilliant Life is Strange, and while it might have been out on other consoles for a while, this is the first time it's been small enough to fit in your pocket.
