Time to pick which of these games should be the 148Apps iPhone and iPad game of the week

It's Thursday, and every Thursday here at 148Apps we like to have a little vote. We pick what we think are the best games that have come out over the past seven days, and then it's up to you to choose which of them should be crowned the 148Apps iPhone and iPad game of the week.
And it's definitely been a busy week. It was hard trimming the shortlist down to just five, but we reckon we just about managed it in the end. And it's left us with some really awesome selections for you to argue over.
You're no doubt wondering how to vote by now. Well, it couldn't be simpler. Either send us a tweet with the hashtag #148GOW, or leave us a comment on our Facebook page. You could even let us know your choice by dropping a comment in the comments box at the bottom of the article.
However you choose to do it, we hope you pick wisely. Click here and you'll find out if last week's voters were wise with the choice they made. And if you're done there, let's get on with this week's fine selection.
Grimvalor - download for iOSThere are a lot of games out there that try to be Dark Souls, but Grimvalor gets as much inspiration from the golden age of 2D platforming as it does from the gloomy stomping of a Souls game. It looks great too, which is never something to complain about.

It'd be remiss of us not to add a new King game on this list, since by our reckoning almost everyone who is currently on a bus or a train is playing some form of ...Saga. This one is a polished up Candy Crush, with some added multiplayer and a swankier new look.

Any game that features a knight spinning around is fine by us. Any game that includes a spinning knight and also harks back to the glory days of the top-down RPG is even better by us. It's fair to say we've got some pretty strange criteria for what makes a good game.

This one is a pretty big step away from what we've come to expect from a Badland game. Gone are the physicsy platform puzzles, replaced with something that's much closer to a mobile MOBA. It's PvP, it's card-based, and it's way better than that makes it sound.

Do you remember a game called Old Man's Journey? Well this comes from the same studio. It's not a massive puzzling platformer though. Instead it's all about solving puzzles and making music. It's every bit as charming as Old Man's Journey, and there are some interesting ideas here too.
