Okay, you've established a stronghold, you've fought a few battles, and now you want to take things to the next level in Total War Battles: KINGDOM.
It's understandable, I mean Alexander the Great didn't just stop when he'd conquered a few places. If he did, he probably wouldn't have earned the moniker “the Great,” right?
With that in mind, here are a bunch of higher level strategies that will help you turn those foggy bits of the map into proud and high-earning parts of your ever-expanding country. You need a routine
If you want to be the best, then you need to make sure you're playing every day. Even if you're just jumping in for a few minutes to collect your tithes and set your peasants to work. It's really important to keep those numbers ticking over, and putting aside a few minutes of your day, everyday, is going to do just that.
You need a strategyThe deeper you get into the game, the more options for advancement you're going to open up. If you don't want to spend any money on extra currency, you're going to have to focus on one of these at a time.
Unlocking new land opens up multiple possibilities for your next expansion, so choose one area to spread out into rather than trying to spread yourself too thin.
You need to upgrade your troopsYou'll hit a barrier after a while with your units. Rather than building more and trying to overwhelm your opponent with sheer weight of numbers, which is technically impossible anyway, you need to strengthen the ones that you've got.
You can upgrade them, and you can buy them new equipment as well. This is key to winning the later battles, and if you go in with an underpowered army you'll get wiped off the map.
You need to know what you needAs you get more and more land, you're going to prioritise different buildings, units, and terrains. It's important to know what you need your workers to be doing, rather than just setting them on their merry way.
Tapping on a tile then selecting what you want to build will show you the materials you'll need to build it, letting you focus on collecting the goods you need.
