TNA Wrestling iMPACT Released on iOS

Namco Networks released its new professional wrestling game today: TNA Wrestling iMPACT. Wrestling fans will be excited to see classic wrestlers like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair as playable characters. The game boasts multiple game modes including a career mode, cage mode, tag-team mode, and submission mode.

The player will also be able to create their own wrestler from appearance and costumes to move sets and finishing moves. Game Center support allows players to play against their friends online and Bluetooth and WiFi support allow players to play head-to-head in local gameplay.

TNA Wrestling iMPACT is just one of many games released by Namco on iOS and they seem to be focusing their attention on as many mobile platforms as possible. Carlson Choi, vice president of marketing at NAMCO BANDAI Games America, said that “It’s extremely important that we make our games accessible on as many devices as possible.” The game was released as a universal iOS app for $4.99 as well as an Android app, Blackberry, and other platforms.
