Imangi is a word game where you get points by creating words in an already filled out game board. It's sort of a cross between Scrabble, Boggle, and a variety of word games like Text Twist. Imangi thows in some great play modes to make it even more interesting.
When you launch the basic game you are presented with a 6 by 8 grid of letters. You highlight letters to make words and score points based on the number of letters used in the word. Using cells that are red provide bonus points. If you can use all of the red cells in a single board you will receive bonus points. That's the basic game play, but Imangi adds something extra. You can slide the rows and columns of letters. This lets you move the tiles around to provide more options for creating words. But this increases the complexity of the game as it is easy to move a row or column and eliminate a word that you have already selected.
Imangi also includes multiple play modes that include playing based on time and against other players. There's the standard play mode, as detailed above. A speed play mode where you have a certain amount of time to find as many words as possible. Daily and Friend challenge modes. Daily challenge mode is one where you are given the opportunity to get as many points as possible for a board -- a new one each day. You are effectively playing against everyone else who participates that day. Friend challenge mode is a real gem of a feature. You can challenge anyone you know to see who can get the higher score on a board.
