This War of Mine gets a new ending and more in latest update

This War of Mine just got a big new update, featuring free DLC that adds a new ending to the game, among other exciting changes. The update is celebrating the game's two-year release anniversary. Apart from the new ending, which will be quite different from the original, the update adds new characters and locations to explore.  If you haven't played it yet, This War of Mine is a brutal survival game that draws inspiration from the Bosnian War. The game casts you as a civilian surviving in a wartorn country. You'll have to make a lot of tough choices -- do you save yourself or work to care for your community? It's not the cheeriest subject matter, sure, but it offers important perspective that we rarely see in an industry that's all about guns and glory.
