Sword of Fargoal Update - More Dungeon Crawling Goodness

For all you Sword of Fargoal fans out there, a new update is out for the iPhone and iPad. The new update has more artifacts, more wands, new maps, new levels, new spells, new treasures, better graphics, and more. Whew... that's a lot.

In our correspondence, we've also learned that future updates will include even more maps, monsters, NPC's, treasures, and spells. Also being worked on are new character classes that will be available through in-app purchase. "For example, a Ranger, Thief, and Magic User — each with their own strengths and weaknesses and possible ranged weapons like bow and arrow, knives, and wands."

Way down the line, due to the difficulty of the upgrade, are completely customizable dungeons. "One of them will be the original C64 version dungeon skin, but others might be from other contributing artists. Don't look for this any time soon though because there is a lot we have to do to prepare for this feature."
