Super Farming Boy won't let me love it

In my first (and most recent) write-up of what I've been playing, I made a particular note about Super Farming Boy taking over my life. I thought for sure it'd be the only thing I'd be playing until I could bang out a review for it.
Unfortunately, though, my desire to play the game has someone dried up. It's not because its gameplay grew stale or I just grew tired of it, either. Instead, it seems that Super Farming Boy does not want to let me enjoy it. Some of this probably has to do with some quirks with in its overall structure, but more than that I just kept running into bugs that made it frustrating to play.
This should come as no surprise to anyone who has booted up Super Farming Boy, as one of the first screens you see when it loads is a disclaimer that the game "is still in development" and that "you could find some serious bugs." As it turns out, it's a really handy disclaimer, but it didn't stop me from trying to enjoy what I could of it.
The most common of these bugs was starting a new day with a completely black screen, which would prompt a need to force close the app and try again. For a game all about forward progress and feeling compelled to do "one more day" of farming, this puts a huge damper on that momentum and usually would lead me to choose something else to play instead.
It appears that the developer, LemonChili Soft, is still actively working on fixes, but right now I'd steer clear of Super Farming Boy. According to Steam, the game is yet to release as an Early Access title on PC, and my guess is that major bugs like this need to be sorted out before it comes out there.
I'll be keeping an eye on updates for the game over time, because I really want to play more Super Farming Boy! I just don't want to have to fight through significant problems in order to do so.
