How to get the right answers in Stupid Test!

Nobody likes to feel stupid - especially when playing a game so clearly designed to trip you up as the rather aptly named Stupid Test!

But, as anyone who's tried it will tell you, nothing is as it seems here. No matter how right you think you are, you're probably wrong.

So here's a few tips to make sure you don't end up looking too stupid as you're playing and, who knows, maybe even beat the game. Read the question

This may seem obvious, but you have to really pay attention to the questions that are thrown your way.

Every word has been carefully chosen to fool you, and some questions will be so wrapped up in useless information that you'll miss the glaringly obvious answer.

It's usually simple things, like the words "not" or "but" that can catch you out, so watch out for any contradictory statements made within the questions.

We're not talking degree level mechanics or anything, but there are some basic mathematical rules you should remember.

For example, dividing by a fraction is the same as multiplying by the number. So dividing by a fifth is the same as multiplying by five.

This will be used against you on several occasions, so watch out for it. Oh, and multiplying by zero gives you zero, so watch out for that too.

Each level has twenty questions, and while they're thrown at you in a random order, it's still the same twenty questions each time.

So if all else fails, just choose a random answer. If you're right, remember it for next time. If you're wrong, then pick a different one when it comes back around.

Do this enough times and you'll know the answer without even needing to look at the question.
