Mondo Solitaire

Ambrosia, one of the oldest Macintosh games developers, delivered 3 games in the App Store on launch day. This one, Mondo Solitaire, brings a representation of the greatest time waster in history to the iPhone OS.

The controls on this game can take a little time to get used to. In particular selecting card to move can be a little touchy at times. But overall it's fairly easy to adapt to this versions little particular quirks. I particularly liked the use of swipes as controls -- swipe left to undo, right to quickly move all cards that can be moved. Nice touch there. Here's a short video to show you how the game looks:

While playing I noticed a couple little graphics mistakes -- didn't cause any gameplay issue, it's just a little annoying.

While this game is a little expensive at $10, there are 100 games included with pretty good instructions on each. So if you like to play just Klondike/Canfield, perhaps look elsewhere. If you enjoy playing multiple Solitaire games, then this is the one for you.
