Since being released back in 1943, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s literary masterclass, Le Petit Prince, has become a phenomenon. It is one of the best-selling books in history and has been adapted for pretty much every form of media. It is little wonder then, why thatgamecompany has announced that the collaboration between this on Sky: Children of the Light is returning.

Way, way, way back in 2021, the Season of the Little Prince - the translated name for us uncultured lot - was a massive hit for Sky. Now it is back, taking centre stage for the annual spring celebration, Days of Bloom, which takes place from March 23rd to April 13th. But this time, the Prince is in colour.

To experience this gamified masterpiece, take a trip to Aviary Village, or Home. Here you will meet a guide who will spirit you away to the Starlight Desert. Once you arrive, you can take a trip through history to revisit places from the original crossover and relive the adventure with the Prince.

One of the most emotive additions to this collaboration is the rose messages. These notes bloom from the earth and allow players to leave reflections for their fellow explorers. The Little Prince itself grapples with deep issues, so it is only fitting that the same thoughtful nature trickles through to Sky.

Finally, it isn’t just the Starlight Desert that is experiencing a glow-up. Thanks to the Days of Bloom event, all areas will be awash in the joys of spring. Blossoms and wildflowers will gradually take over Home, Hidden Forest, Forgotten Ark, and Praitie Peaks. You can admire the beauty, pause and take a calming breath, and even find a few bonus event currencies whilst you are at it.

Sky: Children of the Light is available to download from the App Store and Google Play. It is one to check out if you like collaborations, as Sky pulls in a lot of big names, such as the recent Moomins event.
