Shadow Fight 3 guide - how to become a seasoned fighter

Master the combos
Randomly mashing attacks will serve you decently well to start, but eventually you're going to want to take a more studied approach. Each weapon type has its own unique set of combos, which you should start to learn so you can dole out maximum damage. You'll learn special moves by unlocking new ability cards as you progress, and you're free to practice each combo in Training mode to help you get the timing down.
Use your Shadow EnergyYour Shadow meter, the bar below your health meter, will gradually fill as you do damage to your enemy. Once it's full, you can press up and tap the Shadow Energy button to initiate Shadow Mode. We recommend saving Shadow Mode for the toughest parts of a fight, usually towards the end.
Shadow Mode unlocks new special abilities and powers up your normal ones. It's insanely powerful, but it takes time to build up and will only stick around for a short while, so use it wisely.
Never stand stillYou should be using every part of the battle field. Make sure to roll in and out of range of your opponent to sneak in tricky moves and dodge attacks. You can roll by sliding the joystick diagonally in either direction. Try mixing this movement style with your combos for some devastating results.
Experiment with new weapons and equipmentYou should be upgrading your equipment continuously. You'll find new weapons and armor from card packs and by completing quests. Always opt for the armor with higher stats. For weapons, experiment with each new type that you find, and choose the one that best suits your playstyle, or switch between a select few. You can even equip abilities to your gear for some extra power.
