TripAdvisor Apple Watch Review

It’s pretty clear by now that if you’re a regular traveler, the Apple Watch is a particularly handy purchase to make. TripAdvisor is another app for helping you get around and discover new places, and it’s pretty great.

At a tap of the watch screen, you can check out all your saved favorites, look up restaurants, things to do, and hotels near you. In each case, you’re given a list of all the options, along with an average rating, distance from you, and how it ranks compared to the rest of the places near you. Delve further and you’re offered maps, relevant photos, and the all important user reviews.

You can’t add reviews through the app but that’s not surprising. It’d be pretty awkward to do that accurately, so you’re better off using your iPhone for such things.

Instead, the Apple Watch version of TripAdvisor is just right for checking out what’s near you without having to retrieve your iPhone from your bag. It’s a worthy addition to any frequent traveler’s arsenal.
