Phit is a cross between a Tetris and Tangram type game. It's a fun puzzle game that has over 100 levels and makes a good quick casual game. Easy to pick up and quick to play.

Each level starts out with the pieces for the level in the top 3/4 of the screen -- and the target for the pieces at the bottom of the screen. Your task it to rearrange the pieces to get them to fill into the bottom section completely filling the whole area. There will be just exactly the right amount to fit the whole target.

Unlike Tetris the pieces can not be rotated -- this actually makes the puzzles easier. You know that the pieces are in the right orientation from the start and just need to be rearranged.

Starting on level 1 things are pretty easy. Difficulty does progress from there but they don't get too difficult. Progression is done by decreasing the size of the pieces. This creates more pieces and more complex pieces to place. Still, even at the higher levels, most will take you 30 seconds or less to complete. Though you will find a few levels that will throw you and might take a few minutes moving pieces around to find the solution.

The controls are nice and smooth, easy to play. Pieces drag smoothly -- you can even move multiple pieces by pushing them with other pieces.

Overall the game is a great value for $1.99. Fun, easy to pick up for a quick game. It does have a finite life though as there are only a certain number of levels and no real incentive to get better scores for levels you have completed. If you like puzzle games, you will like this game. Give it a try.
