Clone Camera is a very innovative and novel camera app that makes clones of an object in pictures. The app can duplicate an object that is in different spots in multiple photos with the same background and combine them all into one photo. This app is definitely made by professionals and contains many other features, like numerous photo filters, a timer, shake correction, and more.
In Clone Camera, users take 2 to 4 pictures with the same background but with an object changing positions. Then users outline the object that has been moved and the software magically combines all of the photos together to make one photo with clones of the object. There is a guide system that provides overlays and text boxes throughout the process, which explain in very simple terms what to do.
Clone Camera doesn’t only clone an object in a photo, but it also has a lot of filters and various editing options. Users can edit and tweak the photo after the multiple pictures are merged. The editing options include 27 filters, adjustments, the ability to crop the photo, and an option to add text. It’s really nice that the app includes all these different functionalities so there is really no reason to leave the app to further edit a photo.
One setting that can be really handy is the timer, which will take photos at the end of the adjustable interval. There’s also a stabilizer option to make the photos appear better. The app also supports Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Flickr. In my experience, Clone Camera typically cloned the object correctly as long as the background stayed the same, but the results can vary.
Overall, this great photo app. It’s a novel idea and is executed almost flawlessly. It’s very easy to clone an object and results at typically really good. The additional editing and filter options sweeten an already superb app.
