Catch Lucario fever as the latest Wonder Pick event lands in Pokémon TCG Pocket

At this point, I feel I should be getting credit as a Pokémon TCG Pocket developer, seeing as a lot of things that I write about seem to happen. That, or my desires are as common as a Pidgey. The latest Wonder Pick event has kicked off, and it centres on that greatest of Pokémon, Lucario.

By completing a selection of Wonder Pick-based missions, you will be able to collect some Event Shop Tickets (Lucario). You can spend these at the shop on the likes of a Lucario coin, sleeves, playmat, backdrop, and cover. There is also a Cynthia icon, which I get; she did have a Lucario, but surely Riley would be more suited? Anyway.

Back when the Charizard Premium Pass came out, I lamented that they had chosen the wrong ex from the set to immortalise, and now that is rectified! Although incidentally, when I was completing this suite of missions, I did get a second shiny Charizard ex. I just can’t escape that lizard.

The missions will last until April 26th, and consist of Wonder Picking six times, and collecting ten Lightning and Fighting cards. These are my least favourite mission types, although you can spend your unused pack points, I suppose. Speaking of Wonder Picks, you are also rewarded for collecting one of each of the promo cards.

You will occasionally be able to pull a Bonus or Chansey Pick, which has a chance of netting you a promo Pachirisu or a promo Riolu. Sadly, it is the Shining Revelry Riolu, which takes two energy to attack, but it is lovely and special, so I need two of them. These picks also include the Event Shop Tickets, which is wonderful in case you struggle with these type-pull missions.
