Catch yourself a Lugia and Articuno in Pokemon GO right now

Pokémon Go Fest may have been a bit of a disaster, with Niantic offering fans full refunds and $100 worth of in-game curency to apologize for the failed event, but that hasn't ruined trainers' chances of catching new legendary Pokémon. Lugia nad Articuno are now out in the wild, regardless of the weekend's shenanigans.  You'll now encounter Lugia in Raid Battles around the world. Successful trainers will have a chance to capture this legendary second-generation Pokémon. As a special treat for Team Mystic members, who collected the most Pokémon during Pokémon GO Fest, Articuno is now out in the wild, and you'll also have a chance to catch this legendary bird in Raid Battles, too. 

Although Pokémon Go Fest was a failure, it wasn't a complete disappointment thanks to the addition of these ultra-rare Pokémon. However the messy event did put a bit of a damper on the rest of the weekend. Let's see how Niantic will bounce back. You can see Niantic's full apology here.
