Play Together catches a terrible case of Halloween with newest update

Despite Christmas already insisting on rearing its ugly head, the spectre of Halloween is still haunting October and has spread its spooky stylings to Haegin's mobile metaverse Play Together. There are new decorations, pets, and events that will reward players with some scarily good prizes.

Play Together is a free-to-play social world on mobile that allows its players to meet up in its virtual world and play together in a variety of ways. Avatars can be freely customised, parties can be thrown and a variety of mini-games can be enjoyed. Games are an excellent medium to bond over, and Play Together is a wonderful way to forge new friendships in a fun environment. With Halloween bearing down upon everything, Play Together has taken a spooky turn. Kaia Island, the main hub of sorts, has received a frightening makeover. A new Halloween-themed background has draped itself across the land, and a variety of interior items have been added, including a Creepy Pumpkin Path and a Spiderweb Trampoline, which sounds more fun than scary.

New NPCs have been added to the island Plaza, with the Grim Reaper and Chuppy making themselves at home. They come seeking the mischievous little ghosts that have escaped and want to draft the players in to give them a hand. By catching the ghosts, Ghost Coins will be rewarded that can be exchanged for Halloween items such as the Coffin Car, a Grim Reaper Mask, and much more importantly the Grim Reaper’s Scythe, a must-have to acquire.

To combat the spooky spectacles that have swooped upon the game, Haegin has introduced the cutesy new Balloon Doggos. There are ten of these new critters that can be obtained from balloon eggs that are ready to receive the many pets they richly deserve. For the more seafaring adventurers, many new giant fish have been added to catch, including the Giant Great White Shark.
