148Apps's best games of 2015 - Jen's list

I’d hate to count how many iOS games I’ve played this year - the number easily drifts into the hundreds.
Somehow, there are still many acclaimed titles I’ve yet to check out - but that’s probably a good thing, given how hard it was to narrow my list down to just a few titles.
Here are my personal favourites of the year. The best
Many people would call this a guilty pleasure - and I guess it is. Clicker Heroes has grabbed me and refused to let go.
It’s an ultimately pointless experience as the game pretty much plays itself - as is the case with all idle RPGs - but it’s compelling stuff.
I’ve frequently found myself dipping in for a few minutes each day, working towards improving my DPS and inevitably doing the same thing over and over again.
It’s an odd habit, but one I don't regret.
I’ve been a big fan of Tin Man Games for a number of years now, and the team has excelled themselves with Ryan North’s To Be Or Not To Be.
It's Hamlet with a choose your own adventure spin, and it appeals to my love of Shakespeare and interactive fiction. The fact it’s hilarious is the icing on the cake.
It’s an immensely entertaining tale, and one you’ll want to replay numerous times to get the most out of.

Gloriously simple in its execution, Alto’s Adventure is the game I play when I want to relax.
Its visuals owe something to console hit, Journey, with you negotiating a sleepy mountain on a snowboard.
There are objectives to follow and tricks to master, but you can enjoy simply roaming. It’s really quite beautiful.

PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX is the antithesis to Alto’s Adventure. It's a much more frantic experience which you can lose yourself in as you race Pac-Man around new mazes.
The best part? There’s no conventional punishment for hitting a ghost - you just lose time - reducing some of that frustration.
