| Ninjatown: Trees of Doom!

Ninjatown is a shining example of simplicity being better than complexity. So many developers try to add all sorts of game elements and rules to their games, but time and time again, the most popular apps in the App Store are always the most simple.

In the spirit of Doodle Jump, Ninjatown gives you one goal, and that is to go up as far as you can without falling down. Instead of jumping from cloud to cloud though, you must climb up between two trees to get as high as you can. As you climb the tree, you will face a challenging variety of obstacles, ranging from flying creatures to unclimbable tree segments. As expected, the higher you go up the tree the more challenging the obstacles. Once you get hit by anything, your quest up the tree is over and you lose. Like all of my favorite apps, your score at the end is not only you vs. the other players on your device, but also you vs. the world via the Plus+ Network.

The controls in Ninjatown are extremely simple. Instead of a complicated scheme, all you have to do is touch the tree you're on to climb up or touch the other tree to jump across. Occasionally you will hit an extended branch that you will automatically cling to, and to move, you just have to catapult yourself by dragging the ninja down and letting go.

Being somewhat of a casual gaming connoisseur, I can't recommend Ninjatown enough. The challenge of the game along with the quick play time make this one perfect for a quick gaming session. If you enjoyed Doodle Jump or any other game like it, you'll like Ninjatown quite a bit.

Ninjatown: Trees of Doom!

Ninjatown is a great casual game in the mold of Doodle Jump and Scoops. If you need a quick game to play on a bus or a train, or with a fox on a plane, this one is for you.
