Uncharted Water Origin debuts combat PvE mode in newest update

Uncharted Water Origin has released its latest update, and as well as the usual S-Grade Admiral, we are also getting an all-new PvE mode. Resetting each month, this will give you a chance to swashbuckler your way through combat challenges to earn big rewards.

This PvE combat addition is called Lighthouse of the Ruins and will see you starting in lower waters and trying to climb up to higher ones. Beating each challenge will earn you Blue Gems and Shipbuilding Accelerations, along with some extra goodies for clearing certain levels. Our latest S Grade Admiral is William Admas, a man who, as seen in the image above, is perhaps the least pirate-looking pirate there has ever been. This Englishman, again you wouldn't guess, is a trade specialist, so whilst you might not want him in a fight, he will be a saviour in the markets.

Williams’ Memoirs follow his journey to Japan on the Dutch merchant ship Liefde, determined to earn the Shogun’s trust for unknown reasons. To achieve this goal you will need help from your Mates, which is where the new Transcendence system comes in. After reaching Premium Training, you can unlock an extra Effect slot on a Mate by using this mechanic—a nice boost.

To celebrate this update there is a Combat Support Special Attendance Event kicking off until November 6th. Simply log in, and you will acquire helpful items such as 60 Tomes of Transcendence, 40 Highest Comabt appointments, and more. However, the most useful prize comes on day one.

Athena’s Protection is a buff that you will activate on the first day of this event, and it will last 14 days. It will grant you an increase to Sailing Speed of 2 Knots, a 100% boost to Combat EXP Gain, and a Repel Support Consumption decrease of 1. Whilst a windfall of free items is always nice, this is definitely the headline of the Attendance rewards.

Uncharted Waters Origin is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
