MapleStory M celebrates its fifth anniversary with the release of a powerful new character

It has been five years since Nexon launched the mobile adaptation of Wizet’s hit series, MapleStory M. To celebrate this milestone, it is time to introduce Maple World’s first Spirit Walker, Kanna, along with a host of special events to kickstart your adventure with this powerful new character.

This new update revolves around the deceptively innocent-looking Ayanokouji Kanna, a powerful Spirit Walker and student of the Great Spirit Walker, Tsuchimakoda Haruki of Izumo. Wielding immense magical power, begin your journey with Kanna as she strives to rescue her old friend, Princess Sakuno. In conjunction with this new character, you will be able to explore Kanna’s beautiful homeland, Momijigaoka. Here you can practise with Kanna's new summoning skills, get to grips with her use of mana over MP, and do it all under the permanent pressure of your adorable fox, Haku.

As is customary with all new characters, Kanna players will be able to gain an extra level every time they advance between lv 140-198 thanks to the Maple M Burning Event, and with the Kanna Growth Mission, you will also gain extra rewards as you complete missions for even quicker levelling up.

These pair perfectly with the Grow with Kanna event, where another nominated character will also gain EXP as your new Magician grows. Even if you don’t like this new character, you still come away with something about your other favourite character. In addition, the Mega Burning Plus Event will allow a selected character to also gain two levels with each progression between lv 1 - 140.

If you like your rewards, then make sure to check out the Attendance Sheets to gain some extra presents simply for logging in on certain dates. Finally, the Legendary Sages event is your chance to earn some powerful buffs, items, and Event Coins by completing a series of mini-games.
