Lightning is a really tricky card in Clash Royale, and it takes a seriously skilled player to use it effectively.

Between its high Elixir cost, strange properties, and high damage, it can be pretty hard to counter. Never fear though, as 148Apps is here to help. Play your units away from towers

Players will likely want to maximize Lightning's impact by using it on dangerous units placed near towers, to deal high damage to both at once.

If you notice a player is running Lightning in its deck, please your units away from towers if possible.

Be sneaky

If you can bait out Lightning by pretending to push one lane before going to the other, you can gain a huge Elixir advantage. So do that.
