GTarcade announces upcoming public beta for MMORPG Time Raiders

GTarcade has announced its first eastern-style adventure MMORPG, Time Raiders, will be available for public beta on October 13th. Footage from the existing beta gameplay looks very enticing, with a very-action-oriented set-up with fluid movement and some nice graphics for a mobile game.

Time Raiders starts off with a very detailed character creation process, at least where looks are concerned. There is a myriad of options to choose from to make a character's face look fairly unique. Classes are limited to a choice of three; Blademaster, Gunslinger and Sage, the usual holy trinity of character classes. The gameplay appears to be fairly fluid, with 3D movement via the joystick, and an active-looking combat system. Attacks are done manually and battles include an active dodging mechanic to avoid the well of telegraphed attacks. In the world of mobile RPGs, Time Raiders looks to be an interesting action-styled entry to the genre.

Players will be able to join clans to tackle higher-end content together and raise loyal pets to assist in Treasure Hunts. Valiant companions can also be summoned to battle alongside for those that have an aversion to real people, which is a very nice feature. Not all MMORPG players are very social, so it is nice when developers cater to them.

There is an artifact system in Time Raiders that can be used to boost character abilities as needed. The Artifact Codex will be used as players collect the treasured items which can increase all kinds of attributes, with artifact collections providing further power boosts when all are collected. Artifacts will also provide background into the game world for those lore hunters.

Time Raiders will be available to play on Google Play and the App Store, with the public open beta launching 13th October.
