At the time of writing, Arena Breakout has only been released for a little over a month but has still managed to clock up over 80 million registered users. These are staggering numbers, and MoreFun Studios is set to keep this momentum going with the release of Season 2 in October, called Battle for The Port.

Despite the accolades, Season 2 does its best to obscure the world of Arena Breakout, thanks to the new Storm Warning mode. When this kicks in, the battlefield with be blanketed with fog, giving you a few new ways to strategically approach your targets, should you learn to master it. Use the fog to plan out and execute your attacks on other players, or bosses such as Ajax and Porrero. Don’t forget to equip a tactical flashlight to help you find your way, but be well aware that nothing pierces bad weather and announces your arrival quite like a blinding beam of light, so use it sparingly.

For those looking for a new haunt to loot, feast your eyes on the new Port Map. Guoyapos Bay City was once the largest naval base in Kamona but is now a deserted playground for scavengers. Engage in action-packed urban warfare, where enemies could be hiding behind any car, or simply see if there's a way to strip that massive great warship for parts.

To help you in your new career as an urban explorer, you can strap yourself with a variety of new firearms. Assaults Rifles have clearly been preferred here, with models such as the AN94, AEK, and ACE31. If you prefer to look your enemy in the eyes, you can also grab yourself a shotgun and, rather excitingly, a revolver for that city cowboy look.

Arena Breakout is available to download now from the App Store and Google Play.
