Clash Royale: The Road to Legendary Arena: Royal Arena

Supercell recently celebrated its 10th anniversary and their best title, Clash Royale, is as good as it's ever been. Even for lapsed players, returning to the game is as easy as can be.
If you want to join us in picking the game back up, we've put together this guide series to help guide you through each arena with a top deck recommendation and some tips for how to do it. Check it out below, as well as all of our other Clash Royale guides.
Arena 7: Royal ArenaIf you've made it up to Royal Arena, chances are good you've finally gotten your hands on some coveted Legendary cards, and you're just now at the point where you'll want to start incorporating them into your deck. Keep in mind that Legendary cards aren't magical, and you'll still need some good strategies to play well with them. Tips:
- The Lava Hound is an air-tank. Use it as the front line to protect your other air units to make a powerful push. The best way to take advantage of this is to play the unit behind your center tower so you can build up enough Elixr to stack others behind it before going into enemy territory.
- Your win condition hinges on escorting your Balloon to the enemy tower. Between Lava Hound, Mega Minions, and Minions, you should have all the air support you need to get this done. Fireball and Zap can come in handy for extra protection if needed.
- This deck doesn't have a lot of defense, but if you play your cards right you won't need it. Tombstone can act as a good lure/distraction so your towers chip away at enemy attackers, and Barbarians can swarm anything as it crosses into your territory. Your opponent will likely be more focused on stopping your Lava Hound though, and if not, that's good news for you.
