Candy Crush Jelly Saga is the trickiest Candy Crush game yet - and much of that is thanks to its boss battle levels where you have to claim territory from the evil Jelly Queen.

To help you out, we’ve taken a look at some of the best strategies to beat her every time. Plan ahead!

This is a tip that goes for all Candy Crush games but particularly Candy Crush Jelly Saga. You need to keep an eye on potential opportunities for the Jelly Queen. Think of it as kind of like Chess. You don’t want to open up a move for her.

Sometimes, you’re better off playing defensively to slow her down.

If you make a special piece, such as by matching four candies together, you gain an extra turn by stunning the Queen. Plus, those special candies can help you a ton by taking out significant areas of the arena in one turn.

The only mediocre special candy here is the fish which isn’t a huge amount of help, but does at least go towards stunning her.

Are you good enough to create three special candies in a row? You’re in luck. Do that and you gain a special strike that fills the board with your own jelly.

Heads up though - the Jelly Queen can do the same to you, but she’s kind enough to warn you beforehand. Keep an eye on the top of the screen so you know what’s coming up.

If you create a match with the Queen’s jelly, you end up helping her instead of yourself. Always make matches with your own jelly. On the plus side, if you use both hers and your own, it’ll still all go to your side.
