Activision has released a new seasonal update for its mobile shooter Call of Duty Mobile, which is now live across iOS and Android devices after being teased last week.

This new season of the game brings in all the content you’d expect from a new season: new operators, maps, weapons, game modes and, of course, a Battle Pass. The Battle Pass offers both paid and free content rewards just for simply playing multiplayer matches in the game and advancing through each tier. Operator skins, blueprints, calling cards and CoD Points are all up for grabs, but if you’d prefer free content then you can also grab the free operator skill Bull Charge that unlocks at Tier 14 and the revamped PP19 Bizon which is found at Tier 21.

There are also two new maps which have arrived in-game too: Oasis and Coastal. These maps appeared back in 2011’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The former is located in a luxury desert hotel while the latter occurs in a small war-torn seatown.

Activision is also revamping the Night Mode maps with this update, where you’re given a set of battery-powered night vision goggles with limited vision and have to track down enemies using the sound of their footsteps to find their location. Furthermore, a new game mode called Swords & Stones has also arrived in Call of Duty Mobile with the new season. This one tests your melee combat skills by removing guns from the equation.

There’ll be more content coming to the game during the season including a new Spotter class for Battle Royale, seasonal challenges, and the two-week long exclusive Warrior’s Path event which allows you to earn even more rewards such as operator skins and weapons blueprints.

You can download Call of Duty Mobile now from the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store. It’s a free to play title with in-app purchases.
