Call of Duty enters the future with a major collobration with Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045

Call of Duty lurches into the future in its latest season, with a massive collaboration with Ghost In The Shell: SAC_2045. Bringing with it a futuristic new area called New Vision city, players can experience immersive Battle Royale features based on the Netflix series and a brand new weapon amongst a host of other new releases.

Players will be able to join up with Ghost in the Sheel heroine Motoko and battle against the ferocious post-humans by joining in the SAC 2045-themed event; Togusa’a Survey. By consulting the Post-Human Report and completing missions during Multiplayer and Battle Royale matches a special reward can be claimed, alongside the opportunity to experience time-limited missions by triggering the yellow nodes scattered across the maps.

New enemies prowl the areas in the form of AI robots and mechanical dogs that will accost anyone they come across. When defeated they will drop parts that can be traded for one of four new Cyberware Enhancements. The Cyberbrain Drone can assist in scanning and hacking targets, the Ocular System tags nearby enemies and displays their stats, the Cyberbody Limbs grants increased physical power and a unique aerial melee attack, and the Neuro System grants bonuses to aiming.

The battle pass has always been revamped to offer a tantalizing host of Ghosty goodies. The Free Tier players will net the new Claw Operator Skill that grants a firearm that is equipped with ricocheting ballistic rounds a five-burst shot for some bullet-dodging fun. Further on the Switchblade X9 SMG is available, a gun famed for being able to be folded and compact. The Premium Pass offers Ghost In the Sheel: SAC_2045 inspired operator Skins, culminating with unlocking Motoko herself.
