Back in 2016, somebody in an office somewhere threw out one of the most ridiculous-sounding crossovers in history; Goat Simulator Payday. Of course, it makes no sense, which is why it was an absolutely brilliant concept, and now one that Apple users can play for free-ish, on the Apple Arcade.

Placing you back in the menacing hooves of Pilgor, and is anyone else surprised to find she has an actual name, this Payday-inspired pack gives you a chance to put together your own crime mob in order to pull off heists and gather as much money as you can, to gamble away at the Mahatma Gambling casino. This being Goat Simulator, however, stealth is very much optional. Your squad is made up of four aspiring criminals; Don “The Enforcer” Pastrami, Valentino “The Flamingo” Salami, Dolp “The Dolphin” Spaghetti, and Humphrey “The Camel” Ciabatta. You can switch between any of your Godfather rejects to use their special abilities, including mind control, using a wheelchair to climb any surface, and spitting water, because you can't guard a vault with wet shoes.

You will start out small, getting onto the PRANKNET and choosing jobs from a variety of local contacts who presumably have incredibly few options if they are turning to a goat. Once you complete the jobs and have the money in your hooves, flippers, or whatever a Flamingo has, you can don a mask to hide from the law or steal a car for your getaway.

Goat Simulator Payday comes with 12 new achievements as well as 20 hidden trophies, with a huge 14 new mutators available to pick up. These include Scale Goat, Helicopterkin, Cat, Babushka, or what is no doubt the community favourite, Dynamite Goat. However you try to complete your missions, you are in for a hilariously chaotic time.

Apple Arcade subscribers can access Goat Simulator Payday now, as well as a plethora of other titles for only $4.99 a month.
