A Sharp announces the upcoming release of Six Ages sequel Lights Going Out

It is time to revisit the olden days of text-based adventures, as A Sharp announce the newest entry in their Six Ages series, Lights Going Out. You will be tasked with leading a clan across a dying world, desperately attempting to find a way to ensure your survival in a land of no hope.
The Six Ages series takes on the style of the old text adventure games, as you play through a strikingly drawn storybook and make decisions that can lead your clan to prosperity or ruin. You will have to decide how to fight in some surprisingly in-depth battles and make some narrative choices that can threaten the lives of your family. Six Ages 2: Lights Going Out is a sequel to the original, functioning as its own stand-alone story. However, one of my personal favourite features in gaming, you can import your save from the original which will carry over some of your choices. It is always nice when the impact of your old adventures reflects in new, for better or worse.
Set in the world of Glorantha, gods have been perishing over the past ten generations since the original saga, and humanity itself seems to be on the brink of extinction. As the head of your clan, it is your responsibility to try and solidify your companions' survival, by currying favour with the remaining gods and their followers.

As you travel the land, you will be forced to make a myriad of choices, all of which lurk in that delightful grey area of morality. Your choices will have far-reaching consequences, both immediate and in the far future, and your trusty advisors will help you track the promises you have made.
With the world ending, you will need to analyze every choice you make. Will you work for the betterment of the whole world by helping your neighbours settle their disputes in these dark times, or will you focus on saving your clan above all else? Could you side with the gods of Chaos themselves and forget everyone else, if it means you get to survive?
Reflect on your morality in the meantime, and possibly pick up the original, Ride Like the Wind, to prepare for when Six Ages: Lights Going Out, launches on iOS this summer.
