Essentially the Tinder of entertainment, MyLeisure is an app that hopes to make it easier for you to figure out what to watch or listen to next.
It works by hooking up to your Facebook profile and allowing you to swipe left or right on various pictures to demonstrate whether you’re interested in them. Yup, just like so many dating apps. The handy thing is that the sources of entertainment can’t turn you down!
MyLeisure is divided into three sections - Quickie, Discover, and Top Weekly. The latter allows you to swipe through particular recommendations that change each week, while Discover does a similar job at all times. Quickie is there for when you want a quick hit, focusing on memes, jokes, Vines, and app recommendations.
It’s a simple to use interface that's reasonably compelling. You should be able to find something that appeals in no time. Much like how Netflix’s algorithms work, MyLeisure doesn’t always adapt brilliantly to those with varied tastes, but it’s a solid starting point. In a world where you can be overwhelmed with choice, it’s a convenient way to gain some inspiration.
