MU Origin gets a brand new holiday-themed update

The weather outside is frightful, and unfortunately so is the slew of “Christmas” updates. Sure enough there’s one or two that hit the mark but then there are the ones that we’d rather have stayed under the tree.

Fortunately for all you fans of fantasy adventure, MU Origin (the popular MMORPG hit) has just received a Christmas update that’s worthy of the festive season.

The new “Companion and Wings” update does exactly what the name suggests, bringing both a new companion system and a new means of spreading those wings a little more with Roch and Griffin souls.
The new companion system allows you to form an alliance with another player - growing and gaining strength in battle through special companion activities such as the Companion Dungeon. Companionships can be formed between any classes of character and offers the added perk of picking up Companion Buffs.

It’s not just Companion Buff that’s on offer though. The new Roch and Griffin souls will enable players with Tier 6 wings or above to unlock their Wings full potential. On top of that, the update brings a cool new feature called Transmutation, where you can upgrade your equipment to lengths far beyond its original Tier would allow.

And in the season of good will, Webzen have a nice treat in store for you all in its latest event, starting today and ending on the 31st December. During this period, any player that logs in and plays the game will earn themselves a bounty of new items, including Condors Feather, Condor’s Flame, and Gold Spark.
