Instant Face Collage Maker isn’t, admittedly, the most thrilling of apps out there. It’s a collage making app but it’s all done automatically, meaning it’s fast but limited. It does have one trick up its sleeve though - Apple Watch compatibility.
The app taps into your camera roll, seeking out anything with a face, before using it to form a collage. In my case, it seemed to particularly appreciate faces from DVD box covers, although that might just say more about what I photograph than anything else.
The collage typically starts out as just a couple of images then you tap to produce a larger model. It’s easy enough but it is quite rudimentary, leaving you wishing you could pick out images yourself. It seemed to repeat itself often. Either way, you can easily share such things elsewhere.
The more quirky part is connecting your Apple Watch to it. You can then view the collages on there, again tapping to change things around. Sure it’s gimmicky but it makes a change from the usual apps that are out there. As Instant Face Collage Maker is a free app, you’ll probably use it for a couple of minutes at least before realizing it’s restrictive.
