Roll to Win with Game of Dice’s new update

Joycity’s hit Game of Dice gets a big new update this week, introducing new maps, mechanics, and even costumes.

The update sets players loose on an exciting new map, The Cursed Tower, that allows folks to use special Runes mid-match. If you feel like taking a trip down memory lane, though, the new “Map of the Day” feature will grant you access to a past seasonal map each day. It’s a great chance to catch up on content you might have missed. Perhaps the biggest announcement, though, is the addition of the “Place Rune”. Landing on this space grants players one new property at random, and gifts an existing property a special skill. It looks to be an essential tool if you want to come out on top of the competition.

There are some other smaller improvements thrown into the mix as well. The Hidden Cards system has been improved, allowing these special cards to be attached to different characters pending certain conditions. Players will be treated to new Lucy and Doria costumes in the near future, too.

Now’s the perfect time to give Game of Dice a go if you haven’t tried it before. It’s a delightfully addictive mobile board game that sees players tossing dice to move around the game board and buy up real estate. It’s a fantasy take on Monopoly that features loads of depth in both the single player and multiplayer campaigns.
