Flewn review

In a sea of me-too puzzlers and match three games, Flewn stands out as a beautiful interactive experience.

It's brief, lasting only about 15-20 minutes, but it's a gorgeous and illuminating tale that you'll want to play over and over again.

Flewn is an interactive story that follows the tale of a whale who's moving across the desert on tall, spindly stilts, and the animals who come along to aid him in his quest.

In truth, there isn't much game to be had at all here, but the experience is all about taking in the gorgeous artwork, minimalistic interface, and the intriguing plot you'll remmeber long after you put the game down. 

You can opt to play as an airborne frog. You experience the same story, but with more interactive segments and a different point of view.

By holding your finger on the screen you control where the frog flies. You have to ensure it remains airborne by gobbling up flies and insects.

It's not very difficult but it's a cute option, and an interesting way to experience the story in a different manner.

Flewn is an interesting take on the interactive stories that have been slowly making their way to iOS and other mobile devices, and it's one that you'll want to revisit time and time again.
