Fez coming to iOS later this year

Yes, it's finally happening. After five years, Fez is finally coming to iOS. Polytron teased the game's impending mobile release with a trailer,  announcing that the perspective-shifting puzzler will arrive on the App Store in 2017.  Fez earned enigmatic praise and a number of awards soon after it released in April, 2012. In Fez, the 2D and 3D planes collide, making for some seriously mindbending puzzles. You guide the titular Fez through a number of puzzles, rotating the 2D perspective on a 3D plane to gain access to spots you wouldn't be able to get to from a different angle. 

Rumors of a mobile version of Fez have been surfacing since 2013, but they fell into uncertainty when the game's creator, Phil Fish, decided to make a dramatic exit from the game industry. It looks like it's happening for real this time, so we'll just have to wait and see. We don't know much else about Fez's mobile release, but expect more updates as the game gets closer to launch.
