The Talos Principle comes to mobile -- here are 7 other Devolver Digital games you should play

Sci-fi puzzler The Talos Principle arrived on the App Store this week. The game, which tells the tale of a newly awokened robot, is a philosophical story of what it means to be human, while the player explores over 100 different areas in a beautiful 3D space. 

The game is published by Devolver Digital, who has a bounty of other fine indie titles on iOS. Here are seven of the best.  Downwell

Downwell is a clever take on the action adventure genre. It's an endless . . . faller of sorts. You play as a young boy falling through a well, equipped with a trusty pair of gunboots to take out enemies. It's a good challenge, and the animation is gorgeous. 

Reigns

Reigns combines Tinder and Game of Thrones to present something we haven't really seen before. You play as a king, swiping left or right to make decisions for your kingdom. Do you side with the church? Do you invest all of your money into the armies? There are a lot of tricky decisions to make, and many of them might not have consequences you were expecting. 

Spaceplan

This atmospheric space game is about launching potato devices into space to uncover the mysteries of the universe. It's a clicker game, but there's a lot of depth to it, and a very unexpected narrative. Fans of astrophysics will get a kick out of this exceptional title. 

Always Sometimes Monsters

Always Sometimes Monsters is an RPG tale of redemption. With your life on the brink of collapse, you head out on a road trip to patch up old relationships asnd find a new direction. 

Gods Will Be Watching  Gods Will Be Watching is a point and click adventure set during an intergalactic war. Players must navigate hostage situations, wilderness survival, and other harrowing scenarios in an effort to change the world. 

Hatoful Boyfriend Hatoful Boyfriend, the famed pigeon dating sim, is now on iOS. Navigate all the trials of high school life with your pigeon classmates. Abandon all of your expectations at the door - the game takes some pretty crazy twists we don't want to spoil for you. 
Dropsy Dropsyis a point and click adventure game that tells the story of a clown who's hit hard times after his circus burns down. His father is in ailing health, his reputation unfairly tarnished, and all Dropsy really wants is a hug.
