Mirren: Star Legends joins the Crunchyroll vault as Ani-May draws to a close

We are in the death throes of Ani-May, and Crunchyroll isn’t done with the game releases just yet. A stunning number of them have been added to the vault, including that genuine gold mine from the beginning of the month, and we can now add Mirren: Star Legends to that list.
Since being born into existence 120,000 years ago, Mirren has played host to a huge number of races, including angels, humans, elves, demons, and dragons. Chaos was inevitable and constant, somewhat obviously when one of the races is big, scaly beasts that could easily swallow the rest of them whole.
You take on the role of the Lord Oracle and are tasked with recruiting Novas and Asters to dispel the darkness and usher in peace once more. There are 43 characters to recruit from, with more to come, each with their own stories to tell and ability to level the battlefield with. Collect, experiment, and form your own dream team.

Let’s quickly address the elephant in the room: it is an anime-style game. Obviously, some of the female characters have been designed to be quite anime, and we all know what that means. Luckily, the more overt ones seem to be in the minority, with most of the cast realising that armour helps in battle.
Interestingly, Mirren: Star Legends weaves what would usually be payable content into Crunchyroll’s membership levels. All users will benefit from daily login rewards, with extra sign-in bonuses for those on a free trial or beyond. The Premium Battle Pass will be available for those in Fan, Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan tiers, and the latter two of those will also enjoy the Mega Fan Rewards.
Mirren: Star Legends is available to download from the App Store and Google Play, with Crunchyroll memberships being available on their website.
