Clash of Clans is getting its own animated web series

Riding on its unending wave of fame and success, Clash of Clans is getting an animated web series based on its Clash-A-Rama animated shorts. As opposed to the current shorts' 60 second run time, the new and improved Clash-A-Rama will be comprised of "full episodes", although we don't really know how long those could actually be. The show will feature characters old and new on a spate of silly adventures. Unlike some mobile franchises, Clash of Clans' first forays into trans-media looks to be . . . actually good.
The show's been crafted by Tolerable Studios, a new creative group comprised of a few writers and producers from The Simpsons and Rough Draft Studios, the animators behind Futurama. It looks as though Supercell's cash-cow is in very capable hands, and the series will likely appeal even to folks who don't play Clash of Clans or Clash Royale.
The first episode of Clash-A-Rama premieres on Friday, December 9. In the meantime, the show's website features diaries and other written character sketches to give you a taste for the heart and humor expected to be on display in this new series of Clash of Clans-themed adventures.
