Black Desert Mobile is available for pre-download, two days before the big launch

Pearl Abyss' stunning open-world MMORPG, Black Desert Mobile, is set to launch for iOS and Android on December 11th at 12 AM PST (8 AM UTC). However, those looking to get in early and test out the in-depth character customisation will be able to pre-download the game from today.

One advantage of doing so is that it'll allow you to get in early and select your preferred Family Name. If you're unfamiliar with Black Desert, this is the title that displays above your character for your fellow players to see.

Another advantage to pre-downloading is that you'll be able to get stuck into the game's deep character creator and select you class ahead of launch. There are currently five to choose from: Warrior, Witch, Ranger, Giant, and Valkyrie. Each one offers its own unique skills and playstyle, meaning it's best to do your research before making a decision.

The character customisation options are so extensive that you may well find yourself putting hours into tweaking every element of your avatar. Sculpting their face is made incredibly easy thanks to the game's intuitive touchscreen controls. And the stellar presentation extends to the open world itself, which is undoubtedly one of the best-looking we've seen on mobile.

Having hit 4.5 million pre-registrations, a lot of players will be rushing to nab their preferred Family Name, so it makes sense to pre-download Black Desert Mobile right now before its full launch in just a couple of days. You'll find this MMO epic over on both the App Store and Google Play.
