AdVenture Communist guide - tips and tricks for beginners

From the minds that brought you AdVenture Capitalist comes an entirely new way of running things. AdVenture Communist shirks the every-man-for-himself trappings of capitalism for a worlm in which every man throws their potatoes into the pot for the good of society as a whole. Sound ridiculous? It kind of is, but that's why we love it. 

AdVenture Communist is an addictive idle-clicker game where you're tasked with keeping a communist nation afloat. Running a country is never easy, though. Luckily for you, we have a few helpful beginner tips and tricks to help you get started.  Watch the ads

It's sound advice for any free-to-play game, but especially so for AdVenture Communist(which is . . . kind of ironic?). Watch ads whenever you get the opportunity, as they'll speed up your production times and give you other nifty bonuses. 

Hang on to that green button 

You can hold down the green button indefinitely while playing AdVenture Communist to keep those potatoes (and other resources) rolling in. Once you hit a certain quota, the resource you have assigned to the green button will become automated, leaving room for you to start training up another. 

Prestige only when you absolutely have to 

You'll have the option to "prestige" or time travel in Adventure Communist, giving you the chance to start fresh, but with all of the technologies you've resesarched in past playthroughs. This shouldn't be undertaken lightly. Time travel is a means of progressing further in the game. You should play as far as you can in your current playthrough. The best time to time travel is when progression becomes super slow. Any sooner than that and it's a bit of a waste.  Science and strategy go hand in hand 

Research plays a big role in this game, but you'll need to approach it with some strategy in mind. Early on its helpful to invest in upgrades that increase your productivity (the amount you receive when you push the green button). As you progress, though, your focus should shift towards saving up for more expensive, more impressive resources like Medicine and Weapons.  How's your communist nation coming along?
