Top 3 App Deals for 10-5-11
|
iOS + Android
| RAGE (a.k.a. Mutant Bash TV)

We keep track of the top app deals right over on our cleverly named Latest iPhone and iPad App Price Drops page, but man, that whole list thing is so exhaustive. We thought it’d be cool if we just highlighted the top three from this amazing list every day, to help our readers focus on what matters – lower priced apps they may have missed in their busy, busy schedules. So, here’s what we’ve got for today:

First up, technically, this is two apps, but we're sure they're worth your time. Id Software's Doom Resurrection is an update of their classic game, Doom, while Rage is their iOS version of a console game that's really getting mixed reviews around the net. Both are significantly less expensive than they were upon release, with Doom Resurrection going for $2.99, down from $4.99 and Rage coming in at $0.99, down from $1.99. Half price shooter fest, anyone?

Next up, from the makers of Rock Band and Dance Central comes VidRhythm, a universal app for recording and remixing personal videos right on an iOS device. This one was $1.99, and is now FREE, so how can anyone complain?

When a previously $6.99 app of the quality of Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD arrives in the App Store, we rush out and grab it. Gameloft's sixth iteration of their well-known racing series is about a sixth less costly, so now is the time.
