Temple Run 2 Update Adds Water Rapids to Swim Through and Holiday-Themed Artifacts to Collect

Temple Run 2 comes running in with a new update that allows players to go slipping down a water slide and swimming through rapids. The update is also ready to celebrate the holiday season as players can collect holiday artifacts and unlock Santa Claus as a limited-time character. By collecting candy canes, wreaths, holly, stockings, and presents players are rewarded with a Santa hat that can be placed on any character of choice.

“We’re approaching the one-year anniversary of Temple Run 2’s launch, and with this update we wanted to introduce new gameplay elements that keep the run exciting for players,” said Keith Shepherd, co-founder of Imangi Studios, in a press release. “And of course, we love the holidays, so we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to incorporate Santa and holiday artifacts into the game.”
