Nothing…..

That’s all that can be said about this app. Doesn’t work. No response from developer. Nice scam to get $2.00. Save your money.

The basics work fine, but I haven

I am a computer engineer and frequently change networks as part of my work environment. I've been looking for an app like this, because Apple inexplicably did not put Ethernet, Bluetooth, or USB Ethernet networks on their basic dropdown. ("Does't _everyone_ use only wi-fi?" Answer: No, Apple, because Gigabit Ethernet is much faster and more reliable for my workplace!)

This app works as advertised and shows a good deal of useful information without having to open Network Preferences. I have a couple of suggested improvements:

1. Documentation, please. I see in the screen shots on the App Store that there are preferences for the app, but I have not figured out how to invoke them. This app (sensibly) doesn't appear in the main menu, so you can't choose the usual app-specific preferences menu. I have tried right-clicking the app's widget and its open window, double-clicking, triple-clicking, dragging over various things, all without success. Please document how to invoke the preferences.

2. When you move the cursor over the network data (such as the MAC address), a tiny icon appears next to the data indicating that it can go to the clipboard. I kept trying to click that icon, then finally figured out that the icon simply means you can use the clover-C keyboard shortcut at that time. It works perfectly and is a very useful feature, but again, some documentation would be useful.

3. The signal strength indications for the wifi connection (and maybe Bluetooth, but I haven't tested that) need improved translation. (Note to the author: A close friend of mine is a native Russian speaker who is also fluent in English. If you provide a way to contact you, perhaps she and I can help with improving the translations.)

Overall, I think the application itself is good, but it needs to be at least minimally documented to make it most useful.
