Overpriced

The title says it all. This would be a good buy at $3.99. When I pay twenty dollars for a game I expect quality. The graphics aren't bad if you're zoomed out but when you get in close they look terrible. The UI is chunky and hard to manage. I don't know what kind of games the people who gave it five stars play but I play a lot of games and I feel like I got ripped off with this one. I don't mind the level of detail and control. It's the way they are implimented that bothers me. I'll avoid all games by this company in the future. Live and learn.

Don't buy to play on your laptop

This game could have been fun but the controls make it difficult to even get started. It relies so much on right clicking that unless you are playing with a mouse, it can be really hard to play. I couldn't figure out any way to change that particular configuration. I was so frustrated that I couldn't even make it through the tutorial before giving up. Maybe they'll update it at some point and make it more playable, but until then, I wouldn't buy it if you are playing on a laptop.

Way better than Age of Empires

I've played this game since I was a kid (older versions) and I've always loved it. I was devestated when I switch over from a PC to a Mac and couldn't play it. I disagree with the people who say this game is "too detailed." Like I said, I played it as a kid and never had any trouble. It's awesome if you want to me more involved with your villiagers than just watching the settlement from afar.

It's like The Sims meets Age of Empires.
