"I found Papercut! to be fun and addictive to play, just like all other infinite runners. However, something about the cardboard world and awesome music makes me coming back for more."
-AppAdvice.com

"This title’s gameplay may be simplistic – but it enables it to be accessible to everyone aged seven to 70. It’s a great time waster for $0.99"
-Appofmyeye.com

"For a good endless runner, the graphics have to be intriguing and this is one area where Papercut! does not fail to impress... the replay value is really high for this game because of the graphics and constant urge to get a higher score."

One of my favorite never ending games. Only two issue I had; one I wish I could turn the music down when necessary and second I wish I could check personal scores. But other than that, I love the game, especially the graphics. (:

Where is DoomedMobile Now?

I had originally bought this app back in 2011 and really enjoyed this simple, but yet, fun game. I was 11 years old at that time, as years passed I deleted the game and continued on to others. At the time of this writing it is 2015, and I'm now 16. For some reason I thought of redownloading this title, so I did. I played a few good runs, but when I clicked the "info" tab I noticed none of the links are no longer running. DoomedMobile's website and Facebook page are gone, and a new mobile game hasn't been developed by this studio. I'm surprised that this game is still available to download. The "info" tab had a nice bio for the game too as it talked about the team's small "collective" group of two members that are developing games "before the end of the world." At 2011 that little bio showed the potential of what was to come of this small studio, but the only "end" that came was the studio's demise. If the remnants of DoomedMobile are still checking up on their games on the App Store and read what I'm typing up right now. Let me just say, I'm still waiting for a Paper Cut 2, or at least an update of what you guys are now doing, and if not, I would like to thank you for this small app that brought lots of enjoyment to a small 11 year old boy :)

Developer Response ,

Hey there Acecr. That's a really touching review. We did this as a passion project in our spare time and it sounds cliche but knowing that something we created could provide just a little bit of joy for someone is truly amazing. I'll have you know the two of us who worked on Papercut are still alive and kicking. I stumbled upon your review a few months ago and was so inspired that I decided to pop open the project and at the very least update Papercut! for current OS versions and iOS devices. There's even an apple TV version coming right behind it that I'm particularly excited about. The goal is to just recreate it (Papercut need to be rebuilt from scratch) as to not change the experience much from what it was. The last thing we want to do is pull a George Lucas and "update" it and let the original disappear. This is more of a first step into a new beginning. We're brewing with ideas and are jumping back into this satisfying world of app development once more.

Thanks again.

8-bit Retro sound-Insta classic

I love all the 8-bit sound effects put into this. Its so pleasing to the ear, the song and especially the sword swipes! The 3D modeling couldn't be anymore smooth and all together is a new kind of art style Ive just experienced because of this game, and I like it! It's extremely simple, two actions, jump, and slash make this game extremely addicting and it couldn't be anymore charming. There's not a chance I'm passing up on showing this to my friends! The ONLY thing I wish for is a little more variety in the little monsters your face, that's it! You guys have one classic gem here and I'll be on the lookout for you from now on!
