Nancy Drew: Alibi In Ashes 9+

I ADORE this game. Just doesn't work anymore for some reason on my Mac. Check before you buy. Apple ruins everything.

This was the first of the newer ND games that I played and it brought back all the nostalgia from older games. I usually use steam and app store reviews to pick which of the ND games I wanted to play and there wasn’t really any for this game, but I decided to risk it and pick it. And honestly, it was so worth it. The plot is so interesting and actually really well done. I was genuinely invested in the plot and I didn’t see the end coming. I would recommend it to anyone who was even the slightest intruiged by the story.
A warning: there were points that I had to ask my boyfriend to look up some hints (I would have done it, but I didn’t want to accidentally spoil the story) but that’s just because I get frustrated easily. There aren’t that many puzzles which could either be good or bad depending on your preference BUT it took me a weekend to finish (and yes i was playing for multiple hour chunks each day), which means the game can last pretty long.
I do recommend this game! It ran smoothly on my computer!

I emailed the developer through their website per their directions about the need to update their app for the current IOS. Suprise suprise...no response. HER Interactive has gone downhill. It is so disappointing. Been a fan for over 18 years. Played with my daughter since she was little, including the new game. I was really hoping they would bounce back but it seems they have just moved away from being the game developer we all once knew and loved. I have to update my MAC to use it, I guess the kiddos just do not need to play the games anymore.
